Hidden well - established store - Keijoen (京城苑）

Today, I will introduce 'Keijoen'. I went to Keijoen in Tsurugamine. This is a yakiniku restaurant. This restaurant has many menu items. You can eat karubi, rosu, horumon, seafood, salad and more. The meat is very soft and delicious. You can also eat Korean food (Kimchi, Samgyeopsal, Bibimbap,  and more.) soft drinks and alcohol (cocktails, wine, beer and sake are availuble) There is a course menu (3800yen~). You can have a banquet, but you can't rent the restaurant. Keijoen is a little expensive. The average budget is 3000 yen~4000 yen.  When children go there, the restaurant serves them a dessert free. You can dine in or take out.

 

I ate karubi (870 yen), rosu (840 yen), hormon (730 yen), seafood (1300 yen), tongue (980 yen) and ice cream (350 yen).   

The meat is soft and delicious, there is variety of seasonings, such as miso and salt. In particular, I like rosu. It is very tender. I ate a lot and was well satisfied. I recommend rosu. Please try it!

 

This restaurant is popular. If you go there, I think that you should make a reservation.  There are table seats and tatami rooms (57 seats in all). The service at Keijoen is good. The staff can tell you how to grill the meat for best.results. Smoking is allowed and water is served on request.

 

This restaurant accepts Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express. You pay at the table.

 

I recommend to go with your family, friend or lover, but you can go there alone too. This restaurnt doesn't have parking, so you must use a near by parking area. But you can get a service ticket for the parking. This restaurant is on a back road and may be  difficult to find. If you don't know the way, look at the website.

 

I recommend Keijoen because only locals know it. It is not a major yakiniku restaurants chain. Please by all means try it.

Movie Review-Sannbun No Ichi (2014)

 

I recently watched the 2014 movie "Sannbun No Ichi" starring Tatsuya Fujiwara. Other cast members

are Koki Tanaka, Ryuichi Kosugi and more. This movie is based on a novel. The movie director is Hiroshi Shinagawa. He is a comedian. He obtained permission from the original author and wrote the movie script.

 

 This movie appeared in the Okinawa International Film Festival, but the name recognition was  low, because this movie is for young people. Adults did not appreciate it much.

 

 "Sannbun No Ichi" is an example of a movie in the "suspense movie" genre. Suapence movies have a feeling of tension. But actually, there are a lot of laughs in this movie. My feeling is that it is not a suspense. It can be seen happily. You do not get tired, because the deployment of the story is interesting. Think of this movies a new suspense. It is one of the fun aspects of suspense.

The main character in "Sannbun No Ichi" is Shuzo Kiyohara, played by Tatsuya Fujiwara. He is a cabaret club manager. One day, he losy the sales proceeds, but he must deliver the sales proceeds to the owner. He borrowed money, and delivered it to the owner, but he must repay the debt in a ahort period of time. He decided to plan a bank robbery. He carried out the plan with employees Koji and regular customer Ken. Actually, they needed money too. They wanted the money more than anyone. But the people involved in this plan were  not omly these three people, but also the cabaret club owner, hostesses and another woman who knew the plan. Who will get the money?

I enjoyed this movie. I hope that many people watch it. It is watchable even today. I thought it was really interesting. Please watch.
